Happy Tuesday! October is all over now, and it’s time to share all of my favorites! October is one of my favorite months of the year, so I’m sad it’s gone already. Nonetheless, I had a great month, and I’m ready to share some of my loves with you. This time around, I pulled out a lot of old favorites and rediscovered them in addition to trying some new things. Let me share with you my October favorites!
Zoya – Sailor [BUY]
One of my cousins got married at the beginning of the month, and I grabbed Sailor to go with my navy dress. It was a perfect match, and I fell in love with this polish again! I wore it for about a full week. It’s truly an amazing navy creme polish. I definitely recommend it if you don’t have it already!
Maybelline Fit Me! Shine-Free Foundation Stick in Classic Ivory [BUY]
I’ve been wanting to repurchase this foundation from Maybelline for the longest time, and I’m so glad I finally did! This foundation is even better than I remembered. I love it for days where I’m in a rush, or simply don’t want to put on liquid foundation. It’s also perfect for travel! I highly recommend this product, and will be happy to post a full review on it if you’re interested in learning more and seeing how it looks on my skin.
Boots No7 Natural Blush Tint in Spice [BUY]
Now that the months are getting cooler, I’ve been grabbing for more matte blushes. I nearly forgot about this one from Boots No7 in my collection, but I’m so glad I dug it out from the back of my blush drawer. The formula is perfection, and the color is gorgeous for the fall. Plus, it goes well with the next favorite I’m about to share with you. Another bonus is that this blush is fabulous and affordable!
BECCA x Jaclyn Hill Shimmering Skin Perfecter in Champagne Pop [BUY]
A new favorite of mine is this highlighter from BECCA and Jaclyn Hill. I will have a full review up later this week featuring swatches and more information, so be sure to follow the blog to see that post. This highlighter is just stunning, and the golden hues are beautiful even on my fair skin. I’ve been loving it with a matte blush because it is so shimmering on its own. This product is a splurge, but 100% worth it!
Rejuvenique by MONAT Oil Intensive [BUY]
I’ve been reaching for body moisturizer this past month, and this one is definitely great. Rejuvenique is a luxury product that I was lucky enough to review last winter. It can be used as a hair or skin oil, and I prefer to use it on my legs. It has a light lemon scent, and the skin soaks it up quickly. If you can fit this in your budget, I think you should try it out!
I recently became a member of the PR Team over at the sticker shop AlliesPlannerHood. This means she sent me stickers for free in exchange for my honest review. I’m also helping to spread the word about her shop. I’m really loving her stickers, especially her icons and full boxes. I am excited to continue using these stickers, as the quality is excellent. You can shop using the code POLISH15 for 15% off any order!
The Uglies Series by Scott Westerfeld [BUY]
I’ve been wanting to read the Uglies series by Scott Westerfeld for a few years now, and I finally got the chance to do so this month. I read all four books back to back, and really enjoyed them. I’m definitely a huge fan of dystopian novels, but read them sparingly so I don’t get sick of the storylines that seem to repeat themselves in this genre. Uglies is quite unique, and while it’s not the best series I’ve read, it is still really enjoyable. I’m so glad I finally got to them!
That wraps up my favorites for the month of October! I also want to say a huge thank you to everyone who reads and supports my blog. I’ve been working on it full time for the past few months, and I’m not sure how much longer I will be able to do that. I thankfully passed the bar exam and will be accelerating my job search now. Of course, I will always have three beauty posts for you each week, so make sure to follow Adventures in Polishland on Bloglovin HERE if you haven’t yet. It really helps me out a lot, and it’s free!
What did you love in October? Let me know in the comments!
