Manicure March | Milani Color Statement Nail Lacquer in Cupcake Icing

Happy Wednesday! Today Manicure March continues with a nail polish from the current Milani nail polish line available in stores. I know a lot of the polishes I’ve swatched so far this month have been discontinued or hard to find, so I’m glad this one is readily available. I decided to give Cupcake Icing a swatch because although I love pink nail polishes, I never reach for blue-toned pinks. I wanted to see how the formula was, and whether it looked good with my skin tone. Let me share Cupcake Icing with all of you!

Milani Color Statement Nail Lacquer in Cupcake Icing Milani Color Statement Nail Lacquer in Cupcake IcingCupcake Icing is a pink creme polish with blue undertones. The formula is absolutely perfect! I love how smoothly the polish glides on the nails, and that it is opaque in two coats. I don’t know why I’ve avoided Cupcake Icing for so long – it looks great with my skin tone! I also think it would look beautiful on dark skin as well. I’m definitely keeping this nail polish. I need to wear it more often!

All in all, I am loving Cupcake Icing from Milani! I also love that this nail polish is fabulous and affordable, and available at the drugstore for just $3.99. I highly recommend picking it up if you’re in the market for a new pink polish! Pink is definitely my most owned nail polish color, but that’s just because it is so wearable. Let me know in the comments what polish color I’d find most represented in your stash!

  1. That color is gorgeous. That is the color that most represents my collection. I have so many pinks in every conceivable shade, I had to consciously make the decision to stop buying pinks. I was beginning to buy the same shade over and over because I’m so attracted to that color. I seem to have a lot of those blue toned pinks as well as bright, hot pinks and baby pinks. It had to stop! Now I concentrate on blues; cobalt and other bright blues, as well as various reds especially deep reds and burgundy. I’m also a fan of different whites and dark purples. But the Milani Cup Cake looks great on you.

  2. I love this color! Granted – pinks are by far my favorite polish color XD Like Linda above said, I have so many shades of pink that I have to make an effort and restrain myself when browsing polishes. I’ll go to the store and I have to force myself to pick a color other than a shade of pink if I do decide to purchase a polish. lmao.
