Zoya Nail Polish Vienna | December Color of the Month

Today I am excited to share the Zoya Nail Polish December Color of the Month, Vienna. Each month, Zoya is offering a limited edition nail polish that is only available for purchase during that calendar month. What I really like about this promotion is that you can get free shipping on your entire order when you purchase the Color of the Month and use the dedicated coupon code. Plus, it’s great that there is no subscription service involved. As soon as Vienna arrived in the mail, I couldn’t wait to get it on my nails!

Zoya Vienna

Vienna is a gold metallic nail polish with holographic glitters. Zoya describes Vienna as being full coverage in two coats. However, I did begin my manicure with a base of Zoya Evan, a warm brown shade (see swatches HERE). This allowed the gold glitters in Vienna to really pop, and I didn’t have to worry about any of my natural nail showing through any gaps. I completed the look with the Zoya Naked Manicure Glossy Seal Top Coat.

Zoya Vienna

I am really loving Vienna! The mix of gold with the holographic glitters adds so much dimension to the nails. Plus, this polish is the perfect pick for the December Color of the Month as it is on trend for the holiday season right through New Year’s Eve. Gold nail polish seems to be having a moment, and I am here for it! If you love blingy nails, I definitely recommend purchasing Vienna while it’s available this month from the Zoya website for $12.00. You can use code CTD88 for free shipping on your entire order!

Zoya Venus

First up is Venus from the new Enamored Collection from Fall 2023. This beautiful red nail polish with holographic glitters is what inspired this blog post. I absolutely fell in love with Venus as soon as I put it on my nails. The formula applies beautifully in two coats, and I just love how sparkly it is! This polish screams holiday season to me, and I cannot wait to wear it again in time for Christmas.

Next up is Wyatt, a green cream polish from the Urban Grunge Collection. I really like this deep shade of green. It feels a bit more elevated, and this nail polish will look fabulous with many holiday outfits. Wyatt has a great formula that is opaque in two coats. I wore it last year on Christmas with another polish on this list!

If you’re looking for something other than red and green, I highly recommend Alicia, also from the Urban Grunge Collection. This is a silver linear holographic polish. The formula is a bit sheer, so I applied three coats for an opaque look. Alicia is the perfect polish to take you right through New Year’s Eve!

Zoya - Mila

Of course, many of us love reaching for the perfect red nail polish during the holidays. My go to choice is Mila from the Nostalgic Collection. Mila has a cream formula and is opaque in two coats. The deep shade is a bit different than the classic bright red, but I like how sophisticated this more vampy shade looks on my nails. Mila is the other polish I wore with Wyatt last Christmas!

Last but not least is Elphie, a PixieDust formula from the Enchanted Collection. This emerald green shade has a textured formula that is opaque in two coats. It also has a hint of sparkle and dries to a matte finish. Elphie is a unique polish that looks really fancy without any added effort during the manicure process. Your friends and family will most likely ask what’s on your nails when they see this stunning polish!

Easy Christmas Manicures

I hope you found this post featuring five of my favorite Christmassy nail polishes helpful. These polishes can be worn alone, or you can mix and match to create fun nail art designs. The holidays are a busy time of year, but having festive fingernails always puts a smile on my face!

Holiday Manicure with Born Pretty Store Stamping Plates

Happy Wednesday! Despite being in the nail polish community for nearly three years now, I never tried out nail stamping. I think I shied away from it because I knew I would be bad at it, but when Born Pretty Store gave me the opportunity to test out some of their new stamping plates I decided to go for it. If you’ve never tried stamping before I will let you know that there definitely is a learning curve. I’ve been practicing for over a week now, and I am still struggling to get the designs on my nails perfectly. Nonetheless, I thought I would share my first attempts at stamping with you because I’m not a professional nail artist – I’m just a girl with a blog! Let me share my holiday manicure using some Born Pretty Store stamping plates.

Dual Double Sided Stamping Nail Art Stamper & ScraperFirst and foremost, be sure to pick up a nail stamper and scraper. This is a reusable set that retails for just $2.99 HERE.

These are the two stamping plates I used for this manicure. I’m using stock photos from Born Pretty Store’s website because in real life the plates are mirrored and it was impossible for me to get a clear picture of them for you. The top plate is $2.24 HERE and I am using the design on the bottom because it reminds me of a Christmas Tree. Similarly, the bottom plate is $2.99 HERE and I am using the floral design on the bottom because it reminds me of poinsettias!

Holiday Manicure with Born Pretty Store Stamping Plates Holiday Manicure with Born Pretty Store Stamping PlatesI began with a white base of SinfulColors Snow Me White and let that dry completely. You can then follow THIS YouTube tutorial if you’d like some basics of nail stamping. I used Julep Payton for the green on my accent nail and Milani Modern Rouge for the red. As you can see, I did mess up the red stamp quite a bit, and the green color was not very vibrant. Nonetheless, I’m happy with this result as a nail stamp beginner!

All in all, I’m having a great time testing out these nail plate and stamping tools from Born Pretty Store! I will definitely bring you some more nail art looks in the future once I get the hang of stamping. If you have any tips and tricks please leave them in the comments below!
