It’s Favorite Friday! That’s when I wear one of my all time favorite polishes that I haven’t used in a while. Today I have Mint Sorbet from Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear. I absolutely love mint polishes! I bought this one after I had seen many girls rocking mint nails on the NYC Subway in the spring of 2011. Not only is Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear affordable at just $3 a bottle (or less at some stores), but the quality is rather good. You can read more about this brand HERE.
Mint Sorbet is not my all time favorite from this brand of polish, but the color is so pretty. This is definitely a two-coat polish, as the first coat comes out streaky and uneven. Luckily a second coat usually fixes everything and smoothes the color out. Today, I was pleasantly surprised with how beautiful my mani turned out. I don’t know if I’ve just gotten better at painting my nails, but Mint Sorbet is at its best ever! I even did something I never do — I did not apply a topcoat! The polish looks so glossy on its own that I didn’t bother. What do you think of Mint Sorbet?
I’m sure you can see why this is one of my favorites! Have you tried this color or brand before?
I have been wanting this one for SO long, but the day I went to go grab it from the Kroger I kept eyeing it in, it was GONE! Like, POOF! π And, after that, no sightings. Boo! Next time I see it, I won’t let it go!!!!
Oh, and I meant to tell you that it is absolutely stunning on you!! π
I will keep my eyes open for you! It’s a lovely color. And thank you!
My local drugstore has this in stock. Do you want me to get one fr you? I would charge $6 including shipping with delivery confirmation
It’s alright, dear! Thank you, though! I’m pretty sure it will turn up in a Walgreens, CVS, or Kroger one of these days! Thanks, though!!!! π
I love this color, defiantly one of my faves…I love mint colored everything.
Same here! Glad you like it.
I’m not one for greens, but I see many nail art designs stemming from this! it looks great on its own on your nails though!
Thanks! I’d love to add more to this later on.
this is one of my all time favorites. I’m due for a new bottle, but lord do i love it. It was one of my first polish purchases ever!
So cool! I’m on the lookout for these now, since it seems they’re hard to come by.
Love it!! Mint is one of my fav shades of polish, and I love this brand even though I havent tried this color in it. And you did a great job polishing it looks great
Thank you so much!
So pretty! Is it a creme? For some reason, I can’t ever apply cremes correctly π I have to go to Walmart tomorrow.. might see if they have it in stock! π
It is a cream. I love creams! I always feel like they apply best for me, but we’re all different π Definitely see if you can get it!
If you can’t find it, I have it at a local store. I could get it to you for $6 including shipping with delivery confirmation!
Beautiful, it reminds me of Mavala’s Aquamarine.
Thanks! I just looked up Aquamarine & you’re right!
I do like that brand of polish, though I’ve never loved mint green myself. Then again, there are a lot of colors I wear on my nails now that I NEVER would have dreamed of wearing that I own and use now (present: OPI Did it on ’em, a puke-y limish green that I love now), so I may have to find this color π
I know what you mean! It is fun to try out all new colors!
love this colour! you have great nails!
Thank you so much!!

Thanks! I love it!
I love this color! I know it’s mint, but it looks a little Tiffany’s to me. I wore this with some chunky silver glitter on one accent nail and I felt pretty fabulous!
That’s awesome! I love that idea.
Absolutely gorgeous colour! It’s amazing that it’s so shinny without a top coat, wow.
I know! I love how that happened.
Very minty and ice-cream-ish. Looks cute!
Thanks!
