Wet ‘n Wild Crease Brush Review | Dollar Tree Find

Happy Wednesday! I recently spotted a bunch of Wet ‘n Wild makeup brushes at Dollar Tree, and decided to pick one up to try. All of the brushes in this line are cruelty free, gluten free, and vegan. I figured even if I didn’t love the brush, it was worth it for just $1.00! I picked up the Crease Brush, as I tend to always need a clean crease brush whenever I’m doing an eyeshadow look. Let me share my thoughts on this Wet ‘n Wild Crease Brush, and let you know if it’s worth the dollar.

Here is a quick look at the Crease Brush in the packaging. It comes in a reusable plastic sleeve, and has a white handle with white and pink bristles. All of the makeup brushes in this line have the same coloring, so it’s easy to spot them in the store. My Dollar Tree had a display of these brushes on the end of the makeup aisle, but if you don’t find them right away definitely do a search of the full store. Sometimes items are placed randomly at dollar stores!

The first thing I noticed about the brush is that it has a bigger head than the other crease brushes in my collection. The bristles do feel very soft to the touch, and there are a good amount of bristles on this one brush. While the Wet ‘n Wild Crease Brush does not do a great job at picking up shadows, it does nicely blend them. This is definitely a great brush to have on hand purely for blending. If you are looking for a brush that will apply a lot of shadow, this is not the brush for you. However, I’m very glad I own this for blending purposes. It is a great find for just $1.00!

All in all, I’m happy I grabbed the Wet ‘n Wild Crease Brush. It is definitely worth the money, and I am interested in trying out the other brushes in the line. Next time I go to Dollar Tree I will be sure to purchase one of the eyeshadow brushes designed to apply shadow to the lid. I’m interested to see if they will pick up a lot of shadow. I recommend visiting your local Dollar Tree and seeing what makeup products you can find for $1.00!

The item at the top of my wish list is the Carli Bybel palette. I’ve followed Carli’s YouTube Channel for years, and I even got to meet her a couple years ago! My makeup collection is currently lacking big time in eyeshadows and highlighters, so this palette is perfect for me. I love that this palette includes all neutral tones and a mix of matte and shimmer formulas. This palette makes the perfect gift even if the person on your list doesn’t know who Carli is!

Illuminate by Ashley Tisdale: Beach Goddess 12-Color Eye & Cheek Collection [BUY]

BH Cosmetics also just launched a collection from Ashley Tisdale. I think the Beach Goddess palette is beyond gorgeous! If you love to look glowy, this is definitely the palette for you. It includes a blush, bronzer, highlighter, and eyeshadows to illuminate the entire face. I love the range of shades in the eyeshadows!

Glamorous Blush Palette [BUY]

The last palette on my radar is the Glamorous Blush palette. This contains ten blush shades in every shade you can imagine! My blush collection definitely needs to be replenished after I decluttered a lot of my non-vegan collection. This palette will give me the opportunity to test out which shades look best with my skin tone. Plus, it’s only $17 regular price!

11-Piece Pink-a-Dot Brush Set [BUY]

How cute is this brush set?! I love how this set comes in a polka dot holder, as it makes the set so easy to give as a gift. Any makeup lover could always do with new brushes, and this kit includes so many options. I’ve been wanting a fan brush, and it’s always nice to have extra eyeshadow brushes on hand. I’m very interested in trying out these brushes to see what the quality is like. They have a 5-star rating on the BH Cosmetics website, so I’m really excited to get them!

Metallic Liquid Lipstick [BUY]

Last but not least, I wanted to highlight an amazing stocking stuffer idea. Metallic Liquid Lipsticks are extremely on trend in the beauty community right now, so I think giving a few of these as a gift this year is the perfect idea! I know I might not buy these for myself, but it would be so fun to try these out and see what they look like on me. There are a variety of shades to pick from, ranging from wearable mauves to out-there purples and blues. Grab a few of these and wrap them in a bow for a great present!

My Top 5 Makeup Brushes | What I Use Daily

Happy Wednesday! Today I thought it would be fun to share with you my favorite makeup brushes. I noticed that I use the same brushes every day for the most part, and they work really well for me. In true Adventures in Polishland fashion, all of these brushes are super fabulous and affordable with the exception of one splurge that I think is worth every penny. Let me share with you my top five makeup brushes in no particular order!

1. BeautyBlender – $20 [BUY]

Let’s jump right in with the splurge item, which is the BeautyBlender. I’m sure you’ve heard of this cult favorite by now. It is the $20 sponge that somehow is formulated to apply liquid and cream products flawlessly. I avoided the BeautyBlender for a while because I couldn’t justify the price. I even went so far as to purchase a BeautyBlender “dupe” from Ricky’s NYC (see my comparison post HERE). When I received the real deal in a PopSugar box, I couldn’t believe it. The BeautyBlender is truly worth the money, and I use it to apply foundation and blend out concealer daily. I need to pick up a new one after a couple years of constant use and washing.

2. EcoTools Angled Eyeliner Brush – $3.99 [BUY]

I haven’t had much luck with the brand EcoTools, but one brush I do really love is the Angled Eyeliner Brush, which I use for my eyebrows. The brush size is great, and I like have the long handle that my eyebrow kits do not. The bristles are tightly packed in order to give a precise application, too. It’s a really great brush for an affordable price.

3. Real Techniques Setting Brush – $7.99 [BUY]

When it comes to highlighter, I always use the Setting Brush from Real Techniques. It is the perfect size, and I love that the bristles are fluffy so I can blend everything out well. This brush can be used for many other purposes as well, such as setting concealer or blending out cream products. I highly recommend it for highlighter, though!

4. Real Techniques Buffing Brush – $8.99 [BUY]

Another Real Techniques brush I love is the Buffing Brush, which is essentially a small kabuki. I use it to apply my translucent powder, and it does an excellent job. The flat top helps to blend and get a nice, even finish. It’s also great for mineral foundations if that’s your cup of tea.

5. elf Angled Blush Brush – $3.00 [BUY]

Last but not least is the elf Angled Blush Brush, which should come as no surprise to regular readers of my blog. This $3 brush is beyond amazing. It is super soft, but applies any blush I own beautifully. The angle allows me to control the product more, and can also double as a contouring brush. You need this brush in your collection!

That wraps up my favorite makeup brushes! As you can see, I stick with affordable brushes but add in a splurge product where it counts.
