2017 Oh, Hello Stationery Co. Black Friday Sale + Gift Guide

Happy Monday! Today I am excited to share with you Black Friday Sale information and a Gift Guide for one of my favorite small businesses, Oh, Hello Stationery Co. I’ve purchased from this brand for over two years now, and I love supporting shop owners Kayla and Alex. Not only are all of their products designed by them, but the customer service is fantastic. I think it is really important to support small businesses, especially during the holiday season. Oh, Hello is the perfect place to grab a gift for everyone on your list, and on Black Friday you can get more bang for your buck!

Black Friday Sale Information

Here is a run down of Oh, Hello’s Black Friday Sale. The sale runs from Friday, November 24, 2017, through Sunday, November 26, 2017, on the brand’s website HERE. If you make one of the first 100 orders, you can use the code EARLYBIRD to get 25% off the entire website, and you will also get a pack of freebie stickers. All other orders can use the code BLACKFRIDAY for 15% off throughout the weekend.

Gift Guide

Oh, Hello Stationery Co. is known for its planner stickers, but there are so many great gift options available. I’ve combed through the website and picked out my top ten favorites. Please keep in mind that I have not tried out all of these items personally, but after being a regular customer of Oh Hello’s over a long period of time I feel comfortable sharing these gift ideas with you!

1. Beauty and the Book Enamel Pins – $8.75 [BUY]

Enamel pins are extremely trendy right now, and they make amazing stocking stuffers. Oh, Hello offers a wide variety of adorable pins, but my favorite is the Beauty and the Book design. I keep mine on my bookshelf as a decoration, but it can be worn on a jacket, hat, backpack, or simply displayed on a bulletin board. If you have a friend who loves reading, this is an amazing gift!

2. Autumn Love Pencil Case – $12.95 [BUY]

I am a huge fan of the Oh, Hello pouches. I personally own a makeup bag (see my full review HERE), but I think the pencil cases are great for anyone! They are made of a neoprene material and are extremely sturdy. Plus, you can personalize each case at no additional cost. I love the Autumn Love design, but there are several cute patterns available.

3. Personalized World’s Greatest Mom Floral Mug – $16.97 [BUY]

Who doesn’t love getting a mug for Christmas? Pair it with some coffee or hot chocolate and you’ve created a wonderful, custom gift! I own an Oh, Hello mug and absolutely love it. Once again, there are a variety of styles from which to choose, but I think the World’s Greatest Mom design is very beautiful.

4. Doughnut Traveler’s Notebook Bundle – $18.95 [BUY]

Traveler’s Notebooks are all the rage right now, and Oh, Hello carries its own line in both the A6 and B6 sizes. I think this doughnut themed set makes a great gift. You can pair it with a pen or notebook cover as well!

5. Monthly Planner Sticker Subscription – Starts at $19.96 [BUY]

Picking out a gift for the planner lover in your life can be really difficult. Why not make things easy with a sticker subscription? Each month’s kit comes with a 7-sheet sticker kit, roll of washi tape, greeting card, and surprise bonus item. Each kit is beautiful and sure to make your planner buddy smile!

6. Greeting Card Sampler Pack – $24.99 [BUY]

A nice stationery set is always a wonderful gift. Oh, Hello creates fun and witty cards that they hand-cut and print themselves. This 12-piece set includes a variety of cards for events throughout the year.

7. Washi Tape Grab Bag – $5.97 [BUY]

If you have a friend that loves washi tape, a grab bag is the way to go! Each grab bag comes with 4-5 random rolls of washi that is amazing quality. I’ve used several rolls of Oh, Hello washi and highly recommend it. The designs are always beautiful!

8. Customizable Navy Whimsical Floral Planner Case – $24.95 [BUY]

If you have a friend that is always on the go, a planner case is a great gift option. Each planner case is made with the same neoprene material as the pencil case. They measure 12″ x 9.5″ and fit an Erin Condren planner with room to spare. There are many designs available, but my favorite is this floral pattern. You can also get the case personalized for no extra charge.

9. Customizable Row of Books Clipboard – $17.75 [BUY]

Looking for a unique teacher gift? Grab a customizable clipboard! Not only does this keep paperwork in check, but it doubles as a dry erase board! I’m in love with this Row of Books design since I love reading.

10. Shoot for the Stars Coin Purse – $5.95 [BUY]

Last but not least is this adorable coin purse! This reminds me of the pouch I used to carry around in college for my dorm keys and student ID. It measures 5″ x 3″ x 1/8″ and has a heavy duty zipper. The coin purse makes an excellent stocking stuffer, and you can even slip a gift card inside as an added treat!

That wraps up my 2017 Gift Guide for Oh, Hello Stationery Co.! I hope this introduced you to a new small business, or helped give you holiday shopping inspiration. If you miss the Black Friday Sale, you can use my coupon code POLISH15 for 15% off any order at any time.

#PolishlandPresents | Tea Drops + Coupon Code + Giveaway!

Happy Friday! It’s time for another installment of #PolishlandPresents. Last week, I featured a small business that sells special mugs (click HERE if you missed it). Of course, you need something to put in your mug, so today I’m sharing a cool new tea company that I discovered. Let me go ahead and tell you about Tea Drops, and stay tuned for a special coupon code and giveaway at the end of this post!

ABOUT TEA DROPS

I thought I would share the Tea Drops Story video for all of you, because it does a great job of explaining the company and sharing the unique experience each Tea Drops customer enjoys. The company sent me a Variety Box so I could sample the teas and share my opinion on them with you. I’m so glad they did!

MY TEA DROPS EXPERIENCE

Tea Drops PackagingEach box of Tea Drops comes packaged in super cute paper wrapping. You know it is done by hand with the awesome seal. This makes Tea Drops not only fun to receive, but it’s already wrapped and perfect for gifting during the holidays!

Tea Drops Box Tea Drops Box Here’s the adorable box after I unwrapped it. I love the rustic packaging, and how the instructions are clearly printed on the side. Time to see the goodies inside!

Tea Drops Box Tea Drops BoxThe box contains little cubbies for each of the tea flavors. The Variety Box comes with eight teas in four flavors. Each tea is individually packaged. Wait until you see how the tea looks!

Tea Drops Variety BoxHere are the four teas inside the Variety Box. How cute are the shapes?! From left to right, the flavors are: Cardamom Spice (star), Citrus Ginger (bundt), Rose Earl Grey (flower), and Sweet Peppermint (heart). I am just obsessed with all of the little details that Tea Drops thinks about in presenting their products!

Here is how to enjoy Tea Drops! You simply put a drop into the bottom of your mug, pour in hot water, and stir. I like to let my tea sit for about 30 seconds to one minute so all of the loose sediment can settle on the bottom of the mug. I have to say, I love this new way of drinking tea. Plus, it tastes AMAZING! Each flavor is very rich. I love drinking it black, but you can of course customize it to your taste. My favorite in the box is definitely the Cardamom Spice. I am going to be purchasing a full box of that flavor for sure!

COUPON CODE AND GIVEAWAY

Tea Drops is kindly giving all of my followers the opportunity to try out Tea Drops at a discounted price. Use the code POLISHLAND14 for 10% off your order at checkout. #PolishlandPresents | Creature Cups + Giveaway

Happy Friday! Today I have another installment in my #PolishlandPresents series where I highlight a small business that I’ll think you’ll love. A few months ago, I found THIS on Pinterest and immediately added it to my Etsy Wish List Board. Imagine my surprise when it arrived in the mail for my birthday! My brother saw my pin and figured I would like to have the skull mug for myself. Well, it’s been over a month now and I do love that mug. I knew I had to share this unique shop with all of you, since these mugs make excellent gifts.

ABOUT CREATURE CUPS

Creature Cups Large Skull MugCreature Cups is a Brooklyn based company created by Yumi, an artist and coffee drinker. She designed these mugs after dreaming up the creatures and finally discovering that they wanted to live in the bottom of coffee cups. I love that this brand is local to NYC, and the care that goes into making each mug by hand. Plus, each creature is quirky in its own way. I love my skull, but if you prefer something a bit cuter there are options for you. I also think it’s great that these mugs are microwaveable and dishwasher safe.

#PolishlandPresents | Whose Woods Are These? + Coupon Code

Happy Friday! Today I’m here with my first featured shop in my #PolishlandPresents series. This shop is near and dear to my heart because it’s run by a family I know and love. However, rest assured this Etsy shop is super awesome! Let me tell you about this unique brand.

ABOUT WHOSE WOODS ARE THESE?

Whose Woods Are These? shop owners Lauren & Michael

Whose Woods Are These? is run by husband and wife team Michael and Lauren. The couple discovered early in their relationship that they share a love for antiquing, and so they wanted to create a crafting business that allowed them to turn this hobby into a new passion. Whose Woods Are These? turns vintage glassware and tins into upcycled, handmade candles. Each candle is hand-poured, and truly on trend right now. In fact, shop owner Michael explains that Whose Woods Are These? is the real Anthropologie because all of the items in their shop are hand-picked from the antique stores the couple visits throughout the year. How cool is that?!

Fun Fact: The shop name Whose Woods Are These? is inspired from Robert Frost’s famous poem Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening (read it HERE).

MY FAVORITE WHOSE WOODS ARE THESE? ITEMS

Each item in the Whose Woods Are These? shop is one-of-a-kind, so you’ll have to act fast if you see something you love! Never fear – the owners are constantly creating new relics of whimsy for you. These are my current favorites from their shop.

Pink Roses Tea Cup and Saucer Set

Whoose Woods Are These? offers many beautiful tea cups. I love the pink roses on this one. The scent is Royal Chrysanthemum, and this is a soy candle like all of the candles in the shop. It retails for $18 HERE.

Miss Piggy Jelly Jar Candle

How cute is this Miss Piggy candle?! It is made in a vintage Welch’s Jelly Jar and features her Muppets in Space outfit. At only $12, this Rain scented candle is an absolute steal. Make sure to grab it HERE before this unique item is gone!

Libbey Pirate Tumbler Set

You can also find great candles for the men in your life on Whose Woods Are These?! I love this set of pirate candles. You get all three for the price of $35 HERE. Arr, matey, methinks this is an awesome gift!
