Zoya Petals Collection | Spring 2016

Happy Monday! I am always super excited when Zoya Nail Polish releases a new collection, and today I will be sharing with you the Petals Collection for spring 2016. The Petals Collection contains six floral-inspired shades, each containing a shimmer formula. I am so ready for bright colors and warm weather, and this collection is getting me really pumped! Let’s jump right into my swatches of the Petals Collection!

Zoya Petals Collection | Spring 2016

Zoya – LeiaZoya – LeiaFirst up is Leia, an opalescent white polish with flecks of fuchsia, green, and gold. Leia has an excellent formula, but this is a sheer polish. I’ve layered three coats on in the photos above, and you can see it is still not an opaque polish. Leia is not my usual cup of tea, but it is so beautiful, and I love the way it changes in the light. I’m going to experiment with this polish and layer it over other shades, so if you’d like to see more please let me know in the comments!

Zoya – Aster Zoya – AsterNext is Aster, a periwinkle polish with flecks of fuchsia, blue, and silver. Aster has an amazing formula that is opaque in two coats. I just love how dimensional this polish looks due to the strong shimmer effect. This shade is so beautiful for springtime, and I think it’s great to transition from the colder months especially.

Zoya – Azalea Zoya – AzaleaAzalea is the next polish, and my favorite in the Petals Collection! This is a bright pink shade with silver and fuchsia shimmer. Azalea also has a great formula that is opaque in two coats. This polish is just right up my alley! Pink is one of my favorite shades to wear, and this unique shimmery goodness makes it so much fun for the spring and summer. I think it would make a great pedicure polish as well!

Zoya – Zahara Zoya – Zahara

Next up is Zahara, a coral shade with silver and fuchsia shimmer. Zahara has a good formula, but I recommend three thin coats as it is a bit on the sheer side. This is a nail polish that I think will look good on everyone no matter the skin tone! I love a good coral polish in the warmer months, and Zahara is the perfect option.

Zoya – Tulip Zoya – TulipThe last two polishes in this collection still have shimmer formulas, but the shimmer effect is much lighter. Tulip is a peachy pink with a slight silver and fuchsia. I had a bit of trouble with the formula because it is quite watery. I recommend three very thin coats that you allow to dry completely before adding on another. The end result is just gorgeous! Tulip is a great everyday polish that can work professionally for sure.

Zoya – Laurel Zoya – LaurelLast but not least is Laurel, a bubblegum pink polish with a light shimmer of pink and silver. Laurel has a great formula that is opaque in two coats, and is super pretty. I like that this polish has just a hint of shimmer. In fact, it was difficult to capture it on camera even though I was photographing in natural light! Laurel is definitely one of my favorites in the collection.

All in all, I am absolutely loving the Zoya Nail Polish Petals Collection! As you all might know, I am typically not a big fan of shimmer nail polishes. However, I think Zoya has done a great job at creating some unique polishes in this collection. I will be wearing these a lot this spring and summer, and I think you should, too! You can purchase the Petals Collection directly from Zoya’s website HERE. Polishes retail for $10 each, but make sure to follow Zoya’s social media for sales and coupons! Please let me know in the comments if you’ll be picking up any of these polishes for your stash!

Zoya Nail Polish Whispers Collection | Transitional 2016

Happy Friday! Today I am super excited to share with you a brand new collection from Zoya Nail Polish. I look forward to Zoya’s new releases, because I know the quality is going to be great and the shades stunning. The newest collection is called the Whispers Collection, and is the transitional line for 2016. That means these polishes are designed to help you transition from winter into spring. Of course, you can wear these nail polishes at any time of year, and with the beautiful picks this year I’m going to be doing just that! Let me show you the gorgeous Zoya Whispers Collection!

Zoya Nail Polish Whispers Collection | Transitional 2016

Zoya – Ireland Zoya – IrelandFirst up is Ireland, a dusty green shade. All of the polishes in the Whispers Collection have a cream formula, which I really love. Ireland is stunning, and is opaque in two coats. I really love green nail polishes, and this one is gorgeous.

Zoya – Lake Zoya – LakeNext up is Lake, a beautiful baby blue polish. Lake has a great formula that is opaque in two coats. While the blue is definitely a paler shade, it is still very pigmented. It reminds me of winter and snow for sure! I also have to mention the high-gloss finish these polishes all have. I’m not wearing a top coat in any of these photos!

Zoya – Misty Zoya – MistyThe next polish is Misty, a taupe nail polish that I would describe as a mushroom shade. Misty also has an excellent formula, and is opaque in two coats. I love neutral polishes in the winter and spring, and I think this is a shade that will look good on everyone no matter the skin tone.

Zoya – Cala Zoya – CalaNext up is Cala, another neutral polish, this time an off-white, cream shade. Cala has a good formula, but it is a bit on the thin side so I applied three thin coats for opacity. Cala is my perfect neutral polish! It goes really well with my complexion, and can be worn for any occasion.

Zoya – April Zoya – AprilMy favorite polish in the collection is April, a pale pink polish. April’s formula is also a bit on the thin side, so I applied three coats for the opaque look I desired. I’ve tried a lot of light pinks in the past, and the reason I love April so much is because it is more of a subdued pink. I would wear this on the daily, especially at an office job!

Zoya – Eastyn Zoya – EastynLast but not least is Eastyn, a purple polish that is in the mauve family. Eastyn has a great formula that is opaque in two coats. I’m loving this shade of purple! I think it is so refreshing that the Whispers Collection manages to have pigmented polishes that aren’t bright. It’s on trend, and a current favorite of mine for sure!

All in all, Zoya definitely delivers six awesome polishes in the new Whispers Collection! The shades are all absolutely beautiful, and this is a time where I recommend picking up the entire collection because they are so wearable in daily life. You can purchase the Whispers Collection on the Zoya website HERE. These vegan polishes are $9 each or $54 for the collection. I highly recommend them, and can’t wait to wear them again!

Simple Fall Nail Art featuring Zoya Nail Polish & Messy Mansion Stamping Plate MM38 | #FallintoPolishland

Happy Friday! Now that fall is in full swing I thought I would create a simple nail art look for all of you. Over the past several months I have slowly been practicing nail polish stamping. I have a few plates, and I’m finally finding my groove. Stamping takes a lot of patience, but with a steady hand you can create a really cool nail art look with little effort! I reached for some fall colors from Zoya Nail Polish in my collection and a Messy Mansion Stamping Plate from Beautometry to put together a fall look. Let me show you the nail art I created!

Simple Fall Nail Art featuring Zoya Nail Polish & Messy Mansion Stamping Plate MM38First things first, here is the list of everything I used to create this look. Of course, you can use any nail polishes or stamping plates you own! Just make sure they are comparable in color and style.

Zoya – Hunter Zoya – HunterI began my manicure with two coats of Zoya Hunter, which is a deep forest green. I let this dry completely before beginning the next step. This is really important! You can even paint your nails the night before you plan on stamping.

Simple Fall Nail Art featuring Zoya Nail Polish & Messy Mansion Stamping Plate MM38Next, I used Zoya Ember as a stamping polish and a leaf/bark pattern on the MM38 stamping plate. In order to get the desired look, I rolled the stamp over my nails. It was messy, but I cleaned up with a Q-tip and I am beyond in love with the result! Ember is a perfect stamping polish! I’m going to show you the manicure in both artificial light (as shown above) and natural light, just because it is easier to see the pattern in artificial light.

NATURAL LIGHT

All in all, this nail art look was so simple to create, but it looks so cool! The colors are perfect for fall, and the stamp just reminds me of foliage. If you’re new to stamping or intimidated by it like I was, just remember that with a little practice you’ll get the hang of it. I definitely want to continue my adventures in stamping, so if you have any recommendations on stamping plates or polishes to use, please let me know in the comments! You can also use the hashtag #FallintoPolishland on social media to share your fall nail art.

Zoya Nail Polish Flair Collection for Fall 2015

Happy Friday! Today I have a review of the second fall collection by Zoya Nail Polish for the upcoming season. The Flair Collection contains six shimmer, or liquid metal, polishes that coordinate well with the Focus Collection (full review HERE), but can of course be worn alone as well. If you love shimmer, you are going to need this collection. Let me go ahead and share it with you!

Zoya Flair Collection for Fall 2015

Zoya – Tris Zoya – TrisFirst up is Tris, what Zoya calls a nickel liquid metal. Tris is so cool! The formula is absolute perfection, and I love the nickel shade. Tris is wearable while still being a dark and edgy shade. It’s a great start to this awesome collection!

Zoya – Cinnamon Zoya – Cinnamon Next is Cinnamon, a rich bronze polish that was originally created for the Zang Toi NYFW Fall/Winter line. Cinnamon also has a great formula that is opaque in two coats. It makes me feel all warm and cozy, and I think Cinnamon will pair well with sweaters and boots this fall!

Zoya – Aggie Zoya – AggieZoya Aggie is a gold polish with bronze shimmer. I was a bit disappointed with Aggie because it doesn’t show up on the nail like it appears in the bottle. I was hoping for a rich gold polish with a green/purple duochrome effect. However, Aggie is simply a gold polish with a yellow gold shimmer. Nonetheless, it is still a nice polish, but just not what I was expecting.

Zoya – Ember Zoya – EmberNext up is Ember, a fiery red-orange with blue undertones. Ember is just gorgeous! I love the glossy formula and the shimmer gives Ember a three-dimensional feel. This polish screams fall, and I highly recommend it!

Zoya – Giada Zoya – GiadaCalling all purple lovers! Giada is a must have! It is a rich purple polish with magenta shimmer. I am loving this polish, which I know I’m saying for nearly every shade, but it is true! Giada is beautiful for sure.

Zoya – Estelle Zoya – Estelle Last but not least is Estelle, what Zoya calls a blue on blue polish. Estelle is another amazing shade in the Flair Collection. It reminds me of my dad’s Mustang, and shines just as bright in the sun. You all know I love a good blue nail polish, and Estelle is no exception.

All in all, Zoya did another great job in curating the Flair Collection! I love fall nail polish lines, and this one is a hit in my book. You can purchase each polish individually directly from Zoya’s website HERE for $9 each. In addition, the entire collection is $54 in full size or $30 in mini size bottles.

Are you going to purchase any of the Zoya Flair polishes? Let me know in the comments!

Zoya Nail Polish Focus Collection for Fall 2015

Happy Wednesday! Today I am excited to show you the Zoya Nail Polish Focus Collection for Fall 2015. This is one of two collections that Zoya is releasing this season, and contains six cream polishes in gorgeous shades. I am a huge fan of cream formulas, and could not wait to test out these pigmented polishes. Without further ado, let me show you these new Zoyas!

Zoya Focus Collection for Fall 2015

Zoya – Charli Zoya – Charli First up is Charli, a taupe polish with green undertones. Charli, like all of the polishes in the Focus Collection, has a great formula that is opaque in two coats. I’ve never used a taupe polish like this before, and I’m not quite sure what I think of it! Charlie is going to be perfect for nail art, but it’s not my favorite shade with my skin tone.

Zoya – Desiree Zoya – DesireeNext up is Desiree, a rich chocolate brown polish. I am really loving Desiree! The deep pigmentation is stunning, and the polish is naturally shiny without a top coat. Of course, Desiree has an amazing formula as well. I think this is a great brown polish to have in your collection!

Zoya – Hannah Zoya – HannahZoya Hannah is a classic red polish, and I have to say I’m wowed with it! If you’ve been a follower of mine for a while, you’ll know I’m not usually a big fan of red nail polishes, just because they typically look weird with my fair complexion and pink undertones. Hannah, however, just works. The formula is perfection as well.

Zoya – Janel Zoya – JanelIf you’re looking for a darker red, make sure to check out Janel. Janel is a deep and warmer-toned red polish. The formula is still great and opaque in two coats. This is a polish that could take you from the fall season right into the holidays.

Zoya – Lidia Zoya – LidiaNext up is Lidia, a deep eggplant purple polish. Lidia is so beautiful! I did experience a bit of patchiness with the formula, but nothing that another coat of polish can’t fix. I’m just really impressed with the rich pigmentation in this collection. It pumps me up for fall!

Zoya – Sia Zoya – SiaLast but not least is Sia, a royal blue polish. Sia is by far my favorite polish in this collection! I am truly obsessed with this blue shade. I could gush about how much I love it for several paragraphs, but I’ll stop here. Buy Sia and you will not be disappointed!

All in all, the Zoya Focus Collection is one of my favorite lines the brand has yet to release. I cannot wait to put Sia back on my nails, and I highly recommend the entire collection. I think it is a perfect release for the upcoming fall season. You can purchase the Focus Collection directly from Zoya’s website HERE. Each polish is $9, or you can buy the full collection at $54. For a limited time, you can purchase the full line in mini size bottles for $30! This is a great option for those of you on a budget, but make sure you act fast before they sell out!

What is your favorite polish in the Zoya Focus Collection? Let me know in the comments!

Manicure Monday | Zoya Charisma

Happy Manicure Monday! I can’t believe it! This is the last post in the Alphabet Challenge! I’m so proud of myself for keeping with the series, and catching up when I missed a couple weeks here and there. The only weeks I skipped were Q and X, simply because I don’t own any polishes that fit those categories. But without further ado, let’s jump right into the final post and round it up with Zoya Charisma for the letter Z!

Zoya – Charisma Zoya – Charisma Charisma is one of my all-time favorite Zoya polishes of the dozens that I own. It is a matte polish somewhere between a pink and purple shade. The formula does tend to be a bit patchy, but I layered three coats on and let each dry completely in order to get this final look. I just love matte polishes, and this fun color makes it that much better.

All in all, Zoya Charisma is the perfect polish to close out the Alphabet Challenge! You can purchase it on Zoya’s website HERE for $9.00. Now that we’ve reached the end of the Alphabet Challenge, I want to hear from all of you! I found another nail polish challenge on Pinterest HERE, and would be happy to continue Manicure Monday posts featuring that challenge. Please let me know if you are interested in seeing those posts in the comments!

Zoya Nail Polish Paradise Sun Collection for Summer 2015

Happy Monday! It’s time for the second review of Zoya Nail Polish’s summer collections! The Paradise Sun Collection contains six shimmer polishes that are jam-packed with lots of sparkle that is sure to glimmer in the sunlight. The shades correspond beautifully with the Island Fun creams (see that review HERE), or go well alone, too. Let me go ahead and share the glittery goodness with you!

Zoya Nail Polish Paradise Sun Collection for Summer 2015Zoya – GenesisZoya – GenesisFirst up is Genesis, a beautiful pearlescent white polish. Genesis has a good formula, and I recommend three thin coats for the perfect, opaque finish. I love how beautiful the shimmer is in this one – it’s subtle at first, but powerful when the light hits it perfectly!

Zoya – Selene Zoya – SeleneNext up is Selene, a teal polish with aqua shimmer. This one reminds me of a mermaid! It has a great formula that is opaque in two coats, too. Selene is typically darker than I usually go in the summer, but I like that Zoya went for an edgier feel this year!

Zoya – Oceane Zoya – OceaneOceane is next, and it’s a turquoise polish with a pearlized shimmer. Oceane has a great formula that is opaque in two coats. It is truly a beautiful ocean blue!

Zoya – Isa Zoya – IsaIf you’re a purple fan, you need Isa in your collection! Isa is a blue-based purple with an aqua shimmer. It is beyond stunning, and has the perfect formula that is opaque in two coats. I love how multi-dimensional Isa is. It’s nearly a holographic polish!

Zoya – Mae Zoya – MaeMy favorite in the collection is Mae, a magenta pink. Mae is a sheer polish, so I recommend three thin coats. My nail line was still a bit visible in three coats, but I like the coverage I got. Mae is so fun and girly!

Zoya – Aphrodite Zoya – Aphrodite Last but not least is Aphrodite, a red-orange polish with red shimmer. Aphrodite also has a sheer formula, but I achieved opacity in three thin coats. I’m not a big fan of red nail polishes, but this one sure is nice. If you love reds, you should check out Aphrodite for sure!

All in all, Zoya delivers once again with the Paradise Sun Collection! I’m definitely a cream formula girl, but I have to say these shimmers are just beautiful for summer. I highly recommend Mae and Isa, though all of these polishes are top notch. You can buy them directly from Zoya’s website HERE for $9 each. Let me know in the comments if you’ll be buying any of these polishes!

Zoya Nail Polish Island Fun Collection for Summer 2015

Happy Saturday! It’s one of my favorite times of the year! I love whenever Zoya Nail Polish releases a new collection, and this summer I have two collections to share with you. First up is the Island Fun Collection, which contains six cream formulas in highly pigmented shades. Let me show you these stunning polishes (and stay tuned for the shimmers in my next review)!

Zoya Nail Polish Island Fun Collection for Summer 2015

Zoya – Jace Zoya – JaceFirst up is Jace, what Zoya calls a tropical green. Jace has a great formula that is opaque in two coats. I’m not sure what I make of this green shade! I think I am a bit too pale for it, but if you have dark skin this one will look stunning on you. Jace will definitely be great for nail art, too!

Zoya – Cecilia Zoya – Cecilia Next up is Cecilia, a gorgeous teal polish. Cecilia also has a great formula that is opaque in two coats. I’m loving how rich this color is! Plus, it’s a shade that can be worn all year long from summer through next spring. Look at how shiny Cecilia is even without top coat, too!

Zoya – Talia Zoya – TaliaZoya Talia is up next, and is a beautiful turquoise shade that definitely leans towards blue. Talia does have a flawless formula that is opaque in two coats, but I recommend a healthy layer of base coat with this one because it is prone to staining. Nonetheless, I am truly impressed with the rich pigmentation in this polish! It’s so much fun!

Zoya – Serenity Zoya – SerenityNext is Serenity, a blue-toned purple polish. Serenity has a perfect formula that is opaque in two coats, but this one had a bit of a skunk odor to it. I’m willing to forgive the strong scent because the color is just amazing. I’m obsessing over this unique purple!

Zoya – Nana Zoya – NanaMy favorite in the Island Fun Collection is Nana, a fuchsia polish. I’m drooling over Nana’s perfect formula and beautiful coloration. Whether you’re going to work or hitting the beach, this polish is appropriate for every occasion. It’s definitely a must-have!

Zoya – Demetria Zoya – DemetriaLast but not least is Demetria, a bright red-orange polish. While I’m not loving this color with my complexion, I am loving the formula! It’s a smooth application that is opaque in two coats. What more could you want?!

All in all, I’m loving the Zoya Island Fun Collection! Zoya always gets cream formulas right. I think it’s fun that Zoya went with such deeply pigmented shades for the summer, since it’s something different for our nail polish collections! My top recommendation is Nana, but you can’t go wrong with any of these shades. You can purchase the Island Fun Collection on Zoya’s website HERE for $9 each. Let me know which polishes you’ll be picking up in the comments!

Zoya Nail Polish Delight Collection for Spring 2015

Happy Friday! Today I’m excited to bring you a full review of the new Delight Collection from Zoya Nail Polish. This collection contains three creme polishes and three shimmer polishes to help you celebrate the spring season. I am always eager to test out the new Zoyas when they arrive to my doorstep, so let’s jump right into my review!

Zoya Delight Collection | Adventures in Polishland

Zoya – Lillian Zoya – LillianFirst up is Lillian, a pale blue creme polish. Lillian has a good formula, but I did experience some mild streaking. I applied three coats to get a flawless finish, and I really like the result. I’m definitely a sucker for pastel shades, especially in the spring, so Lillian is a great one to have in my collection.

Zoya  – Eden Zoya  – EdenNext up is Eden, a beautiful pink polish that Zoya calls a “spring flower” shade. Eden’s formula is great, and I applied two coats to achieve opacity. It is a bit on the tacky side, so I recommend thicker coats that you allow to dry completely between layers. If you’ve been a follower of mine for a while, you’ll know that I love pinks! Eden is so nice!

Zoya – Tiana Zoya – TianaTiana is the last creme shade in the Delight Collection, and it’s a stunning mint green. Tiana also had a formula that tended to be streaky, so I applied three coats for an even finish. I’m really loving this creme polish. Mint shades are always on trend in the spring, so if you’re looking for one to add to your collection, pick up Tiana!

Zoya – Rayne Zoya – RayneRayne is the first shimmer in the collection, and is a unique metallic blue with turquoise shimmer. Rayne is a bit sheer, but has a great formula. I applied three coats to achieve opacity. At first I didn’t really like how Rayne looked on me, but the more I look at it the more I like it! What do you think?!

Zoya – Daisy Zoya – DaisyMy biggest surprise in the collection is Daisy, a yellow polish with a yellow shimmer. I wasn’t too excited about this one, but when I put it on I was loving it! Daisy has a perfect formula that is opaque in two coats, and the yellow shade looks great with my skin tone. I can’t wait to use it again!

Zoya – Leslie Zoya – LeslieLast but not least is Leslie, a purple polish with a turquoise shimmer. Leslie is my favorite in the line, and has a wonderful formula that is opaque in two coats. I’m drooling over this gorgeous lavender shade. I don’t often wear shimmers every day, but I think Leslie will be an exception!

All in all, the Zoya Delight Collection contains some really fun and unique shades for the spring season! I definitely think Leslie is a must, and would recommend you grab any of the colors that appeal to you. These polishes can be purchased on the Zoya website HERE for $9 each or $54 for the entire set. Please let me know in the comments if you’ll be picking up any of these polishes!
